Explore Stocking Island
Stocking Island is a 3.7 mile long barrier island, which is directly across Elizabeth Harbour from February Point. We highly recommend getting over there to check out the restaurants and incredible beaches and hikes to the ocean.
If you have a boat:
Go over to Sanddollar beach, and follow the trails. Give yourself (and anchor your boat according to the tides) for about 1/12 hours for a really cool walk/flip flop friendly hike. You can see on Google maps where the trails lead. Follow the things hanging on the trees! You will end up across the island on the ocean side, and then you can make your way back around to the lee side of the island.
Eat at Chat and Chill or at Snappy Turtle. You can anchor off of Chat and Chill, or dock at Snappy Turtle back by St. Francis Resort.
Blue Hole - there is an orange buoy on the right side as you enter the hurricane hole/moorings inside to the left of St Francis Resort. Snorkel near the sign and you’ll see lots of fish.
Snorkel: Guana Cay - if it is a light wind, snorkeling is spectacular here.
Dock and hike to monument at Hamburger Beach - just to the left of the monument hill - there are two docks, choose the one on the right (it may be a little underwater at high tide) or anchor off. Hike up the trail to the right, to the salt monument to the other side - awesome views and ocean side!
Anchor off of Starfish beach, find the starfish and a trail to the ocean.
If you don’t have a boat -
Chat and Chill - you can get a water taxi here. Feed and swim with stingrays. Expensive but fun branded clothes. Water taxi is $10 or $15 per person. Runs on the half hour usually.
Peace and plenty Beach Club - shuttle goes from the hotel on the hour. They have fish sandwiches, fries, a bar, seating and lounge chairs for a nice few hours.
There is a very high end restaurant at Kahari - need a reservation. Take the Peace and Plenty hotel shuttle over to get there.
